Notifications

Syno delivers notifications across three channels — in-app, email, and Slack. Toggle channels per notification type to tune the noise.

Notification Types

• Mentions (@you)
• Task assigned (you become an assignee)
• Due soon (within 24 hours)
• Status change (one of your tasks moves)
• Reply to your comment
• Announcements

Channel Behavior

In-app	Always on, header bell icon	Everything
Email	Same as in-app + daily/weekly digest	Mentions and assignments

Slack Integration

Workspace Settings → Integrations → Slack. Connect with a bot token.

1. Create a bot app in your Slack workspace
2. Copy the bot token and paste it into Syno
3. Select the destination channel
4. Toggle types on/off

Slack Notifications

• Task created / updated / deleted / transitioned
• Due soon
• Mentions (personal DM)
• Announcements
• Document created / version saved

Email Alerts

• Choose: immediate vs. daily/weekly digest
• Vacation mode temporarily pauses

Personal Settings

• Settings → Account → Notifications
• Toggle channels per type
• Set Do Not Disturb hours

Troubleshooting

1. Make sure the channel is ON for that type
2. Slack: verify the bot token is valid and the bot is invited to the channel
3. Email: check spam and add the sender to your safe list
