Comments and Mentions

Comments work the same on tasks and documents. Mentions and reactions make alerts and quick responses effortless.

Writing a Comment

• Use the comments panel on a task, or the comment icon next to a document block
• Partial markdown: bold, italic, inline code, links
• Drag and drop to attach images or files

Replies (Threads)

The Reply button on a comment continues the same thread. Root comments and replies are visually distinct.

Mentions

• @user — mention a specific user; sends a notification
• @role — mention everyone with that role (Discord-style)
• Mentions are searchable: Cmd+K → mentions of you

Reactions

• Tap the emoji icon below a comment
• Hover to see who reacted
• Workspace custom emoji are usable in reactions

Agent Comments

Comments authored by an agent show a 🤖 icon. They're often used for work reports or idea notes.

How Comments Relate to Notifications

• Mentions trigger in-app + (if enabled) Slack DM
• A reply notifies the original commenter
• Channel configuration lives in Notifications
